Naim app

Have you tried Tidal Connect?

And you really think all those forum members and many others who use the app every day with high end systems all the way down to Musos are lying?

Your attitude is terrible considering this is your first ‘ contribution’ to this very friendly and helpful forum - answer the questions we have asked and stop ranting please !1

Stop posting one liners, take a breath and explain your setup in detail and what you are trying to play (source etc)

What are the symptoms of the App ‘ not workin’ please ?

We will do our best to help if you help us to help you

Best Regards

This is a wind up imho. To me it seems like someone just wants to annoy the good and very helpful folk on the forum. No details and just a rant. Any dealer who had just sold 80k worth of Naim kit would be bending over backwards to help sort the issue. Best to ignore me thinks.

What a very strange way to approach a request for help.

Whilst the comments seem strong, I do share some sympathy. I nearly returned a muso 2 and our nd5xs2, constant issues with the app, missing devices, set up new device, stop starting, power down, restart router etc etc to get everything back. Other devices on the same network rock solid.

Then since the Qobuz facility came, everything became solid. I can’t fathom why but ever since everything is fine, reliable and enjoyable.
I hope you can achieve the same as the products are top notch

I had connection issues with 3.10, but these were resolved with 3.11 (which was the version that introduced Qobuz Connect and had some WiFi fixes IIRC).

Maybe the OP doesn’t want help, just post on a social media like rating a bad restaurant on google when the chicken was not fried enough.

You’re suggesting his app just needs a little more seasoning..?

Well, it does seem to work better when the weather is a bit chilli.

Don’t really need to use the naim app.

There are other better control apps for Tidal, uPnP, radio…

Yes, a new router from Saucer Audio.

User error

Maybe an exess of samouraï sausage on the screen….

Perhaps the wiring round the back of his/her hifi is real spaghetti.

See, too many cooks.

Whatever the cause, they seem far from appi.

IMHO It is an excellent Ap, I use with four different Naim streamers/Core everyday. If there is ever a problem here it is usually an internet drop-out (three storey house) not the Ap and readily sorted by re-booting my ipad or turning naim streamer into standby and back.

Yes. Maybe also network mess with 2 routers, mesh hifi, ethernet cables with no certificate ( :joy:), ….

Ooh la la… Mesh hifi… qu’est ce que c’est?
