Naim CD 3.5 rediscovered

LP12/72/250/HC/Epos ES14s made me as happy as a pig in the proverbial in the early 90s.

At some stage, along with many other non-essential ‘to do’ items, I will get my 72 serviced - I may actually prefer it to the 282, but my testing was cut short when the 72 developed an issue on one channel.

Actually I should open the 72 up and check none of the boards have come loose as it was in storage for some time.

Interesting. Just hooked up a spare HICAP to the CD 3.5, still cold, but not sure I don’t prefer it bare. More detailed perhaps and retains pmenty of PRAT but overall sounds thinner. Probably more accurate.
