Naim CD Players

I’ve been investigating older Naim CD Players since I’m not in love with the current offering. However I’ve been told that Naim no longer offers repairs for the transports because they no longer have any of the older units. Can someone tell me if this is true? I was thing perhaps Richard might have the latest word on this. Thanks in advance for your help.

I don’t have anything later than what has already been stated by Naim, that current VAM1202 spares supplies at the factory are depleted and Covid has meant sourcing more has been pretty much impossible at the moment. I’ll find out more when I’m next down at the factory (thanks to Covid it has been over 2 years!).

Hi Richard. I was under the impression that transports are still available for the CD555.

Naim also has laser mechs available for entry level CD players in England and N. America.
