I have just made a second backup disk using a WD passport 2TB as I did before. The Core reports that the backup is successful and the correct number of files are showing. When I connect my original backup drive to my PC I can see all the files etc - when I connect the new backup to my PC the drive is not visible to the PC at all. It shows up in Device manager and I can allocate a drive letter using disk management. It then shows up as a local drive but I am unable to open it. Both of my backups are on identical drives using the same settings on the Naim (NTFS) What has happened? why cannot I see the new backup drive?
Anyone got any ideas?
Both drives are the same make and model - same usb port on PC - same drive cable. All drivers uptodate PC is running Win 10 pro.
