The shelves have never been available in walnut. According to the Naim website, it’s available in natural or tinted cherry, as well as black and ash. Best to ask your dealer for the latest position, as Naim had supply problems recently. As to prices, your dealer will know that too.
When I enquired recently about Fraim with several dealers, the two that got back to me (the others simply didn’t bother - presumably no interest in selling me anything), said that there was at least a six week wait for orders, and possibly longer.
Knowing what country you are in would be useful. But assuming it’s the UK, then Signals have a price list on their website which includes Fraim components,
Mitch lives in the US, hence why I suggested contacting their dealer. Adding this detail to one’s profile certainly makes responding to questions easier.
Mitch….they were never available in walnut, AFAIK. I know you have some already. Aren’t those a different finish?
Hey Dean,
I thought they were walnut. Maybe they’re cherry. Do you know what they retail for these days?
Ah the location topic, always important to mention. I answered, or tried to, a question, it turned out the person was in Singapore and the product in question wasn’t even available there!

LOL…….USA (on Long Island, NY)
Used to visit our office there in Huntington quite frequently
Always got corrected that the correct name is “Strong Island” ![]()
It has a few other colorful names as well! lol
I’m in N Massapequa, which is on the south shore of the island. If you still make to this neck of the woods, I’d be happy to host a good listening session, lubricated with a fine dram or three of scotch.
Yesh, Cherry was an original option, as well as Ash and Black Ash. The latest price was around $1200 and about $1600 for a base level.
Still no Ardbeg fan Mitch? ![]()
