Update on state of play of the internet radio service.
All servers are running fine, no downtime over June. 449 station streams updated over June to keep things running smoothly, 45 new stations added.
We’ve been working in the background to improve the metadata service.
Jazzgroove network - this now has metadata feed. The metadata engine is still being trained on their content, but it’s getting better by the day.
Swizz Radio - metadata + audio quality increase. (200kbit/sec AAC/HLS from 96kbit/sec)
SRF, Switzerland - metadata + audio quality increase (200kbit/sec AAC/HLS)
Radio Caroline - now has show data.
ABC Radio, Australia - audio vs metadata better synchronization.
New product firmware for New Classic Series & Muso2 ranges is coming out shortly that has support for improved metadata. Uniti and classic series streamers already support it under the v3.12 release.
