Naim Mu-so Gen 2

I have a Music Gen 2 that generally won’t turn on.

Sometimes the bug dial flickers white then goes off.

Something where the USB on the right hand side is it will go red or purple and switch off

It was bought new from John Lewis in November. It has worked sporadically.

Any ideas?

If it’s showing red it probably has a fault, so I would take it to John Lewis while it’s still under warranty and ask them to repair or replace it.

No harm in trying a factory reset first, but the red light probably means it needs attention.

I have the Bentley Edition Mu-so 2.

Upon a fresh power-on, the side LED will be red briefly, then changes to purple as the unit attempts to undertake a network connection.

I would suggest you try attaching the Muso with an Ethernet cable directly to your router , and then performing the power on. If the issue continues, perform the reset whilst still attached via Ethernet cable to your router.

Suggest you avoid doing these tests in a Mesh network , also avoid a wifi-repeater network.

If there is no success when using the Ethernet cabled connections, a discussion with your dealer would be wise.
