Naim Muso 2 connectivity

Interesting experience … I was fighting for months and months with my Muso 2. Most of the time it refused to boot up, or when booted up, refused to play nice with Qobuz, multi-rooom requests via Google cast or the native Naim functionality… Sometimes the only way to wake it was to power up the TV, let it activate the Muso and then take over the Muso with one of the streaming apps.

Anyway, the Naim always seemed to find a way to stubbornly refuse to play nice … To the point that I simply wanted to just toss all Naim Muso devices in my household (1 Muso 2 and 4 QB2’s) and get another brand instead…

Until during a rearrangement of the power connections on my Niagara 1200 I impulsively reversed polarity of the Muso’s power cord. (All other devices have C13 to Type F power chords and correctly grounded and phase-aligned, only the Muso 2 with its C7 cord normally should be polarity-agnostic)

That was a month ago …. And not a single issue since then ….It’s as if it turned into a whole new device. Gone were the red leds, constant freezes, connection refusals, unresponsive dials etc …

Anyone had a similar experience? Does this sound familiar?
