Hi guys,
I read about adjusting optical input trim to +10dB.
I have a naim muso 1 gen. Does it have the optical input trim option? I tried looking for it under setting, input and then optical. Well i could only rename the input but there is no option to increase the 10dB option.
Care to share where i am misiing?
Regards Wayne
If I remember correctly, it needs to be done on the source not the mu-so.
Think that’s what I had to do when I had my mu-so v1 to my Panasonic TV via optical.
Open the Muso in the Naim app, and in Settings, go to System Settings > Input Settings > Digital and you should see the Input Trim adjustment.
It’s not available with the mu-so v1.
It can be changed on NC devices.
Hi, I recall having a similar issue either my QB2 where options (other than renaming) were missing from the Naim app settings. Try closing and reopening the menu a few times and see if they appear - that worked for me last time I had this problem.
I’ve messaged Naim about this as it seems to be a glitch in the app, so maybe needs a fix from their software developers.

NogBadTheBad,
This is what my muso app page shows too. Are you sure the muso V1 is excluded from this feature?
Thanks ChrisSU for the suggestion. I will try removing and re-installing the app again.
I don’t ever recollect seeing it when I had my TV connected to my mu-so, it’s now in the bedroom.
All I did was close the app, then reopen it and return to the Settings and the options mysteriously reappeared. I didn’t delete and reinstall the app. No harm in trying though.
