Naim n172xs + supernait 2

Hi, I have a question
is it possible to combine n172xs as a preamp (pre out din4) with supernait 2 as a power amplifier (power apm in 5 din)? Will it work?

You’d be best using the line out from the 172 and using it just as a source. Presumably you would then swap the 172 for an ND5XS2 or NDX2.

Thanks, I know you can ND5XS2 or NDX2. Just wondering if the n172xs can be plugged in, will it work. I read that n172xs gives good sound as a pre amp.

I’d expect the SN2 preamp to be better than that in the 172 but you could use the SN2 just as a power amp if you wanted. But it doesn’t really make sense as a system.
