good evening, what happens if I use two identical Snaic/Xrl cables with the same wiring between the Supercap and the two 135s
When you say “Snaic/Xlr” cables do you mean the supplied DIN-XLR leads?
If you use two identical handed leads (i.e with either red or green bands) then you’ll likely only get one working channel. However, if both are NAP250 leads with white bands then they will work normally, but not sound quite as good as having the correct handed red and green banded leads.
Also be sure they’re not balanced configuration XLR’s .. but not sure what would happen if they were .. I’m guessing nothing good.
I mean exactly the same in every way. They are two cables with a green band.
Then, as I say, if you use two identical handed leads (i.e with either both red or both green bands) then you’ll likely only get one working channel.
It should have one with a green band (CH1 - Left) and one with a red band (CH2 - Right).
The two Snaic are identical in every way because I opened them. Then I insert one xrl into channel 1 of the 135 and the other into channel 2 of the other 135. Everything works perfectly but my doubt is: is there a possibility that something will be damaged?
You’ll be getting only one of the channels (CH1) but through both amps.
Your local dealer should be able to get you the proper din-xlr cables.
You would only need the red one though not sure how likely a single red cable could be found.
Do you have a dealer that you work with?
David
Two minutes with a soldering iron would fix it. Then colour the green band with a red marker pen.
I just need to move a wire from the right pin to the left one…right?
Is there anyone who can show me how the wire combinations should be soldered onto the pins?
yes I will certainly ask him
I can’t post the photo of the wiring on the din connector and I think my doubt is about the soldering of the dim connector
@Skeptikal can do it eyes closed. But be careful, after some glasses of wine, to not solder the nuts.
I know it can be done, but I don’t know whether it’s the din end or the XLR end that needs to be resoldered. Hopefully someone can give a definitive answer.
