Is there any way of changing the Naim CD5X settings from RCA to Din to RCA without the remote control.

My remote control has not worked for a while, I’ve had the CD player & remote from new around 19 years.

No, you cannot change the output between DIN and RCA or set to both on a Naim CDP without a compatible remote control.
If it helps whatever your trying to do, resetting to factory default will revert to DIN output.

Hi @ink04 ….. yes, google search tells it all.

Turn off the player using the power switch on the rear panel.
Press and hold the STOP button (or the top panel door button) on the front fascia.
While holding the button, turn the player back on.
Release the button once the display reads - - or flashes.
Turn the player off and back on again to complete the reset.

Would this reset it to Din to Din

Or Din to RCA which is what I need ?

Hi again, as I said in my previous note ……
resetting to factory default will revert to DIN output.

But these CD5 settings are either DIN output or RCA output, it’s the CD5 output settings only, there is no setting for a DIN output into RCA input
If you want to connect CD5 that’s stuck on its DIN output and connect to an amp with only RCA inputs, you need a DIN to RCA cable.
