Naim not reading Innuos contents or art

I use Sense to push music from Innuos to Naim but I no longer see any album art in the Naim app or on my ND555. It displays in the Sense app perfectly. It is the same for stored music and internet radio.

I can see album title and track info, it’s just the art that’s missing.

If I use the Naim app to pull from Innuos, the app can see the Innuos as a server but it doesn’t see any content, as though the Innuos is empty.

I do see the art from internet radio when playing directly from the Naim app.

Previously, all art was displayed and Naim could read the contents of the Innuos, but this began around the time of the 3.10 update. I don’t recall if it coincided exactly with that and I haven’t paid attention since then, as I all but stopped using my system until 3.11.

UPNP is activated in Sense, hence why Naim can see the Innuos as a server. I have restarted and factory reset both the Naim and Innuos. I have reviewed all settings I know of, in both apps and the web client.

I am at a loss as to why Naim can no longer see the contents of the Innuos or why, when information is pushed to Naim, it can see album and track info but not the art.

Any thoughts from the community, before I reach out to support?

I’ve got an Innuos Statement NG + PN like you.

It can only display the album artwork from locally-stored files, not e.g. Qobuz. Is this what you’re encountering or are you talking about locally stored file as well?

To display local files you also need to have this enabled in your Innuos settings for the ND555. However, I find that this can cause other problems, so I currently have it disabled and the ND555 only shows “Streaming from LMS” with the related logo.

I don’t have any online streaming subscriptions at the moment, only radio (Paradise usually) is streamed from the net and no artwork comes up.

Local album artwork doesn’t display either.

“Display track data…” is enabled on the Innuos.

I use an Innuos zenith / PN with 2 Naim systems (ND555 and Atom.) I have never been able to see any art work on the screen of either of those devices.

I love the sense app but shame I can’t see artwork on the screen.

Since the update a few months ago I have had some issues with drop outs and constantly have to disable streamer and re-enable it - up until that firmware release everything worked brilliantly….pesky firmware updates….

Contact Innuos support. They can sort the dropouts.

Thanks Michael, I’m waiting for my nd555 to come back from Naim and will speak to Innuos when it’s back in my system.

Shame I can’t see the art work but not super critical…..

I used to see the artwork, but now its gone…

I’m not sure why I’m bothered to be honest as I have the screen off during listening and use Sense for control. I just like things that are supposed to work, to work. That said, if I ever want to use the Naim app rather than Sense, I cant as the Naim app doesn’t see any files stored on the Innuos.

You need to enable UPnP server mode in the Innuos settings

It’s enabled. I can see the Statement as a server, but I can’t see anything on it.
