Might anyone here point me in the right direction for a power amp of 50-100W with unbalanced connections? An Audio Note M-Zero preamp is what I’d like to pair with Naim amplification. Perhaps a CI? Meanwhile a Unitiqute 1 continues to entertain using Castle Compact Columns. Thanks all in advance.
Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason for wanting 100kΩ? ~50k is pretty typical, though I am aware that some Naim power amps have input impedances slightly lower than that - but provided your preamp or other high level volume controlled source has a much lower impedance, as is normal for preamps (often <100Ω), it is unlikely to make much if any difference in practice. I don’t know that Audionote preamp - does the manual give its output impedance?

Specs for the AN M-Zero are 2K R output.
It’s recommended to have 50x this for the amp input R or so I’ve learned.
I’d been hoping to find a NAP100 as a suitable shoebox with adequate current for the speakers I’ve chosen, Castle Howard S2.
I’ll be digging in further…
Hmm, the NAP100 quotes an even lower impedance than some of the other Naim specs I’ve seen, 18kΩ, while that Audionote has an output impedance on the high side for a preamp. Might not be a an ideal match, though you’d only know if it sounds OK by trying.
