Really! I didn’t know that. It was a bit of a task getting hold of the CD at the time as I think it sold very quickly. I recall the note when I got it direct from Naim, “found this propping up a table leg - J”.
I will commence a search for the vinyl, thanks.

I have a number of Naim label recordings, and often go back to Patrick Noland’s piano recordings when I want to relax ( and Earwax Control when I don’t).
I’ve also got to see Nic Meier and Barb Jungr play live. Both ex Naim Label artists.

Patrick Noland’s piano albums on Naim are indeed excellent listening. I also particularly enjoy Fred Simon’s jazz and Håvard Gimse’s Chopin.
For those interested in recording techniques, the True Stereo: Unprocessed Analog Recordings disc (NaimCD080) is fascinating and excellent, both musically and in SQ terms.

The early releases by Empirical on Naim are also excellent.
I don’t have any naim label LP’s here, but I do have a few releases on CD.
Having previously posted a picture of my naim CD collection in the listening thread, here is an updated image with a few additions. The majority of these were given to me by Paul / Julian during factory visits (a number of years ago!), though I have added some more, in recent years.

That’s an impressive collection, I do own quite a few, but not as many as you.

I remember that i struggled to find something interesting. Most jazz were a bit easy listening albums, more ambiance than sophisticated music.
Maybe in other genres , but they didn’t interested me.
I still have some free samples that came with hifi magazines.
Great collection. I can tick off 18, including Earwax Control (given to me by a dealer as it wouldn’t sell) and the wonderful SFX (who I have a vague memory of playing at a Sound Org party night in Southwark).

I have no interest in stamps but my daughter-in-law’s father is a keen philatelist, specialising in East Africa where he did VSO. He is chair of a subgroup of the Philatelic Society and gets a great deal of pleasure from his collecting, buying and selling and interacting with fellow collectors. That doesn’t seem like nuts to me.

C.f. Chandos, from whom the Asgaardian collection benefited greatly when they were selling off their vinyl catalogue for peanuts in the mid-nineties.
