Welcome to the forum. I quite understand your situation. I too have some concerns as to why enhancements to the Focal/Naim have not been included so that setting up the Naim CI 102 becomes super easy.
I think it has been a business decision. It may also be because the product has the possibility of producing output that can blow up loudspeakers - and Focal cannot know the characteristics of the loudspeakers that customers may choose. Unless of course one chooses Focal loudspeakers!
I am not sure what specific help you need just right now but it is possible to bypass the loudspeaker selection dropdown in the Focal Manger software so that ‘no’ loudspeaker is selected.
