I’ve just picked up a Nait2 cb version with a special feature I’d never heard of,
I talked about it on the French Naim forum and no-one was able to give me any information, so I’m hoping to find an answer here,
This model has the speaker sockets reversed compared to all Naim products: the right sockets are on the right and those for the left speakers are on the left, amp facing you.

If you play with the balance, the writing on the label on the back of the Nait2 will match up perfectly
It’s also confirmed by the original manual, in which there was a patch that was glued over it
Naim must have recruited someone with some common sense, and let them loose on the production line before they finished their staff training
