I agree to market your own cables to be the best for the specs but leading the idea that using any other cables can end up by damaging your amps seems far fetched in absence of actual tests and proof
I don’t believe they’ve intentionally misled anyone. Steve was pretty forthright about the facts in the 200 thread. I think it’s more like it was true 40 years ago and no one really updated the messaging in the manuals and it wasn’t a priority.
Anyone who ever contacted Naim support about whether the specs on their non Naim cable were “safe” always got an honest response. I did so years ago about my non Naim cables before DR was a thing and they were like, “Yeah they’ll be fine. Obviously we think A5 is best. Regards.”

My enquiry was to find out if I would damage my SN3, not about the SQ of my system, depending on what speaker cable I used. I hope this clarifies my post.
