I’ve got the 20is with a 250dr and 282. V happy and no shortage of bass, though use a REL sub for the last octave. They are super smooth speakers but I’ve found them pretty fast and with a lot of slam on the right recordings. But they are v truthful and won’t add bass that isn’t there. I’m in a fairly small room, which suits them.
Two questions:
What are you doing to time align the output of the sub to the main speakers?
What are you doing to control the primary room modes (i.e. the room’s 1/2 wave resonances)?
Not getting either of these right can sap timing and ‘punch’ from the bass.
