As Richard suggests, check the xlr cables are connected to the right points. Left and right.
I would assume the markings on the hicap for socket 2 and socket 3, being amp 2 and amp 1 refer to channel 2 and channel 1 on the 300, Is that correct?
Hicap Sockets 2 and 3 are effectively the same. You just need to make sure the DIN to XLR cable with the green band goes to Ch1 socket on the 300, red band to Ch2 (as already mentioned further up the thread). It doesn’t matter at the Hicap end.
Great. Thanks all. Turns out it was the din output not being active on the NDX as mentioned by trickdickie above. Now to untangle all those wires and get the lot on a rack. Thanks again.
