Interestingly, the NC 222 and 250 which were originally on sale at £5700 each, and were subsequently increased to £6200, have had their prices reduced by Naim to £5700 again. I bought them at the higher price and my Naim dealer has now offered me £1000 back against the cost of any new Naim piece of kit, including cables
Does this mean something new is coming down the track?
Hmmm…my take is that sales are flagging a bit
That’ll help trade ins, presumably coming straight off the dealers’ margin……. which of course is what they play with to offer ‘great’ deals.
NPX300 price dropped as well.
Let’s hope it’s enough to attract some new buyers in these straightened times.

Supports that point of view, perhaps more than a bit

NPX300 back of the net ![]()
When I bought my 222/250 I did audition the NPX300 and I thought there was a very modest improvement at best. Even with £1k off it would still be best part of £5k for a PS. On the other hand, £1k off a pair of Superlumina speaker cables…
Nice but you’ll really need the matching XLRs too.
I’m only messing no need to do anything if your happy with your system which I think you are but that £1000 is just lying around!
i too found the improvement with the 300 was modest - for me upgrading to 350’s for much the same cost delivered much more
I got a dealer email a few days ago, and posted on the 2026 thread
All NC boxes back to launch prices.
There’s a decent amount of NC kit available ex demo or used now, and at quite good prices.
Ah, thanks for that. Unfortunately my £1k ‘credit’ can only be spent on new gear, not ex-demo
Rolling back prices rather than offering temporary discount will definitely annoy anyone who bought last year and paid full price!
Er..,.that’s me
And many others, all now very annoyed.
That’s basically what Chord did with the Qutest and it annoyed me so much that I sold it and vowed to never be a customer again.
Looks like I was able to take part of the special offer from Naim where, for a limited period of time, I could buy a 222/250 for £1000 more than the usual price ![]()
Shame they didn’t just give you £1000 back, but the offer is better than nothing.
Not really - I have to spend more money to use my £1k credit
Yes, it’s a bit like, we give in one hand and take in the other. As said shame you can’t get the £1000 back. As it would certainly enjoy me if it happened to me, as basically you have just lost that if you want to sell them on in the future.
Why?
