NC 250 click noise while on standby

My apologies it’s me again… It’s about the clicking noise that is very audible right after playing music.

NC 250 issue - Click noise coming from the amp itself.

After playing any music when paused the clicking sound appears. Approximately two minutes after pausing the track then it will have an interval of around 30 seconds and eventually disappears.

For better understanding I live in Dubai and for me to send the unit back to my dealer is gonna cost me a fortune as it’s purchased from UK (device was not available in local dealer at the time of the purchase)
I have the trio purchased from my good friend who also lives here, he purchased from UK.

I would really like you kind inputs before I go and spend money sending it back.

YOU SAY ON STANDBY BUT UNLESS YOU TURN IT ON STANDBY IT IS STILL ACTIVE AFTER 2 MINUTES. The standby behavior depends on the settings selected on the back of the 250. Clicks will often either mean that the unit the main transformer is switched on or off.

Hi Claus… thanks for the reply. My mistake when i mean standby i mean when there is no music going on but the amp is still powered on. When i pause the music at approximately after 2 minutes the click happens.

The fan, as has already been suggested; there will be a relay switching it on and off.
