Timber and carpet

Thanks.

I have a concrete floor with LVT, so I’m not sure if any vibrations connect with my speakers and whether any isolation would bring benefits. Maybe I’ll have to see if I can try and return them if they don’t work in my setup.

We have a carpeted concrete floor. Installing Isoacoustic Gaia under our speakers was one of the most significant upgrades we have ever made.

Best regards, BF

Good to know. I’ll likely go this route when I upgrade my speakers.

Depending on your speakers, also worth checking alternatives such as Townshend Podiums (much more expensive and aesthetically challenged to these eyes but even more effective), Herbies various products (especially if you live in the USA), etc.

Happy hunting! BF

I think Townsend do a 30 day trial.
I received some bad advice from a retail outlet. Firstly It was suggest that the podium 1 would fit the kudos Titan 600  they wouldn’t have. They also recommended podium 2 with B pods which could hold my speakers but the B pods were pushed to the upper limit with the weight of the podium and my speakers on top . I actually needed the podium 2 with C pods. Which will be ariving any day now.
I got the podium 2’s ungraded with C pods and paid 15’00 good price I think somebody might tell me otherwise :joy:

Those Townshend podiums were game changes in my system. Not cheap but don’t think I would ever want be without them….
