Hi, since moving to a new flat near our old house (we love the area but we accepted that our 4 bedroom house was too big for us), my year old ND5 XS2 has failed to connect to the built in WiFi. It just flashes purple which shows that it is trying to to connect but fails to do so. I can’t use a wired connection so use the ariel’s on the back of the unit. That is what I used in my last house without any problem.
My Muso1 works without any problem, so that suggests the WiFi is working ok.
Thanks Thegreatroberto, I hadn’t thought of that, unfortunately over the past few days I have tried a factory reset a few times now, but it just appears to be doing things then just reverts to a flashing purple light and after a few minutes switches off. Any other ideas please? Best wishes Amer
My experience of the nd5xs2 swtup is that it can be troublesome. There must be a reason the nd5xs2 is a different button when you set up on the app to the ndx2nd555.
Are you on the latest firmware? And yes, for this you’ll need to connect via ethernet. ( assuming you cant currently connect via wifi).
Before the FW update 6? Months ago, and when I got my nd5xs2, I had to do a number of rests to get it to connect via WiFi. Make sure you do a “ mains lead out” after the reset and give it 10 mins before trying again.
