My ND5XS stopped logging into Tidal yesterday. Time for a firmware update. After two very helpful calls to tech support, I got through it. My mistakes both times: install latest USB drivers (even though laptop is only 3 months old) and connect both laptop and streamer to wired network. I hope others are successful.
As 4.8 was released some years ago, I’d imagine that most people updated ages ago. When I had a 272 and was on the beta programme, doing dozens of updates, I never once used a wired connection on the laptop, so don’t be too hard on yourself.

Echo what 1970 dazzler says. After frustrating restarts, I read the manual (only do this when all else fails) and updated from 4.6 to 4.8. Now happily listening to Tidal again.
