Whats the maximum capacity of the USB stick in front of the NDX?
And will it be possible to connect/plugin an ssd harddrive? Whats the max. capacity of it (if it can)
It will be an alternative for a server. Is it practical? useful?
The NDX, along with all 1st generation Naim streamers, has a USB input which has only limited use, mainly for connectiong an iPhone or iPod, as iTunes was all the rage at the time, and for USB memory sticks. The latter work fine, but you cannot browse metadata as you can with a proper UPnP server, and they do not lend themselves to connecting a large music collection. You really need networked storage and a UPnP server.
