I’ve some problems using USB stick either in rear either in front panel.
There are costant intermittant failure: every 2 or 3 minute a little stop.
I tried to re-format usb stick in NTFS, FAT32, exFAT but without results.
Same problems with mobile usb and usb hard-disk with supply.
Upgrade with last firmware version done.
Any suggestion ?

That does sound like a device issue.
Is it new?
Do the HiDef Internet radio stations run Ok?
How many tracks and Albums are on it?
I would try another usb stick first. And also restart the Ndx2.
Second hand but used very little, almost new.
In streaming configuration (wifi and network cable) run ok.
In front in I used an usb with few album, in rear in I’ve an hard disk with 1,5TB of music.
Also my impression is that there is a device issue but I want to be sure that it’s not only a question of configuration or something like this.
I would also suggest as @frenchrooster says to power cycle. Disconnect from the wall, go and make a cup of tea, and come back say 15 miss later to power on. It does sound like a cliche but has solved many weird issues before.
