Hi, this is my second problem on the NDX2 since introducing new kits on my system. I connected a CD player to the NDX optical connection and it works fine, tried the coaxial connection and it doesn’t work. Checked cables, confs… nothing. So I brought in a new kit having a coax connection and tried this too, again nothing. So the problem is at the NDX side. Can anyone help on this? Thanks all.
You have to turn on any input you want to use. It’s in the app. Go to the home page for the NDX2, tap the gear wheel icon, then tap System Settings and then Input Settings. You may have to experiment to find out which input is the one you want to use. Turn that input on.
Done that. The optical works the same way
You don’t say what sort of CD player it is and I wouldn’t necessarily know it, but you will need to check that the digital output you are using on the CD player is turned on too obviously.
Common issues that cause this include: accidentally connecting to the coax output instead of an input; selecting the wrong coax input (there are two, one BNC, one RCA); enabling the input in the settings menu but not then selecting it on the app’s NDX2 home page. Beyond that, you may need to get your dealer involved and have it fixed.
The optical output of my CD player (MIcro Seiki CD-M2) is working fine with my other DAC.
