Need help with iRadio

It’s been a while since I’ve used my old Mu-So (gen 1 I think), and when trying to today, I remembered that the old Naim radio doesn’t work anymore. Although I had updated the Uniti a few months ago, I forgot how I had done it (of course!).
Anyway, updated the Mu-So firmware to version 2.1.10 (latest version it says), then tried to find radio stations via the iRadio button on the app, and nothing … I just get a rotating circle that doesn’t stop or return anything.

Either I’m doing something wrong, or my iRadio is not able to find anything by virtue of being blocked by my network - which would be strange as I use Roon, Roon ARC and so on.

Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Thank you

There are a number of threads on this very topic, so a search will be wise.
The unit has to be stopped from playing any current radio, which iirc is why the circle appears.
Other peps have posted the full details of the various steps.

Thank you for your reply. I had checked the threads on the site before posting the question and didnt find something that addressed my problem,.

When I got home in the evening, 'lo and behold, the radio stations were populated. I wasn’t counting that it would take a few hours (or the better part of the day) to get this done. I had just assumed that something was wrong when there was no response after the better part of an hour.

All good now. I’m not sure if this long time is standard or there was an issue with my network in the morning.

Glad it’s resolved. I could have added, if on wifi, always worth a temporary patch cable direct to router, to attempt a fix. Easier to do for Muso units than anything bigger!

Hard to say since 2 things could have happened. The iradio still trying to connect to a dead service. Unfortunately the update did not remove all old ffavorits. Or the new station list I think they say with more than 45.000 stations takes a long time to load?

Thank you - it take a very long time, but it loaded in the end.
