I have Naim NAC-62 olive, and need to know about board type that connected to BNC connector (phono) as shown in this picture
I have give blue arrow for the board that I’ve asked.
Is this model NA 328/2 ?
Is that board for phono (turntable) ?
what’s the function of variable resistor on that board ?
I want to connect that phono BNC connector to turntable, is that correct ?

The 328 is a line level board with variable gain. It can’t be used for a turntable.

If you want to use a CD player for that input,instead of a Turntable.
Nac 62 came with either 322 (MM) or 323 S or K (MC) phonocards.
The 328 cards were in a Nac 72 edition, if memory serve.
An earlier owner of your Nac 62 could have done the change for whatever reason - line input conversion perhaps.
NA328 boards were used back in the early days of CD. With them you could convert the phono BNC input to one suitable for a CD player. You could attenuate the high output and also there was some FR manipulation at the top end to tame the rather hard and bright early CD sound. These days there’s no real need for them, just straight through NA326 boards should be fine with a good quality CD player.
