Network with 2 Uniti Atoms

Christmas approacheth and our youngest grandaughter’s birthday is round about the same time, my daughter is going to get her own mobile phone at that time. Thinking about getting her a Uniti Atom to replace the Naim DVD/AV2/175 she currently uses. In that house there are already 3 Naim streamers : NDX, Superuniti and Uniti Atom.

The obvious choice would be another Atom, but I am unclear as to whether the Naim/Focal App will distinguish between it and the Atom in her brother’s room. Is there some setting so that if she/he plays something then it will not just start up on the other one again.

Hi, in the Naim app each individual streamer will be listed, and you will be able to control them separately.
If it helps, you can give each streamer a name of your choice to avoid confusion.

They’re separate devices and can be given unique (easily identifiable) names, although they have unique names OOTB.

In our house we have “naim Lounge” and “naim Office”. No confusion.

It will be fine. We have three Qbs. Give each a different name and off you go.
