Wow. Looks very clean. Like new…!!

Servicing…?

Hi unknown , perhaps someone could identify the blue reservoir caps .

Green LED on off switch working too.

I have the original box and internals too for the Nap160

The blue caps (ITT?) are possibly the originals - @NeilS could probably advise best here.

Thanks Richard , good and bad i supose .
Good if unmolested and pure , bad if it need a few quid thrown at it .
I notice it has no tants on the amp boards all caps , i thought all Naim components had tants …somewhere.

It’s not completely original - the big caps probably are, but someone has fitted electrolytics in the amp boards & preamp supply (instead of tants).
The red sleeving on the power switch looks non original too.

Regards
Neil.

Thanks Neil ,can i ask what Naim would replace the ITT caps with during a service now .

Thanks
David

Kemet caps, but they are different dimensions, so require different brackets & some fettling to mount.

Neil.

Thanks Neil .
I feel it is a piece that deserves to be kept as close to authentic as possible .
I will discuss with Robbie at Robert Ritchie Hifi in due course .
Thanks again
David
