When I did mine I installed two 20A lines with 12ga three wire cable. One common ground for the two outlets.
I did not explore any exotic cables nor any exotic plugs. However it did look and find some sturdy built Cooper outlets and spend time routing the feed. Significant benefit.
If you are looking for more than one or two outlets ( say for an active 500 level system ) I would consider a dedicated ‘pony’ panel with its own separate ground spike/plate.
