We’re pleased to share that the latest app update, version 8.0, is now available. The most significant update in some time, the app now boasts a suite of exciting new features, detailed below.
NEW FEATURES
LOCAL INTERNET RADIO PLAYER
Naim Radio, previously accessible only via Naim & Focal streamers, can now be enjoyed locally on your iOS or Android device.
From the Devices screen, choose your favourites from thousands of Internet Radio stations, bringing the full depth of global music discovery to your mobile experience.

USER ACCOUNT
You can now create a free Focal & Naim account within the app. Beyond the in-app radio access, your account also allows easy registration of your products.
Looking ahead, this account will be required for product registration, to integrate with our forthcoming customer support platform.
APPLE WATCH & ANDROID WATCH SUPPORT
A new companion app for Apple Watch and Android Watch provides convenient on-wrist control of essential playback features.
CARPLAY & ANDROID AUTO INTEGRATION
Version 8.0 introduces CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, allowing you to enjoy high-fidelity internet radio in the car by accessing thousands of stations directly from your car’s infotainment system.
NEW WIDGETS
Custom iOS and Android widgets are now available, providing instant access to key app functions and playback controls from your home screen.
PERFORMANCE & INTERFACE ENHANCEMENTS
Significant background improvements have been made to deliver a smoother and more responsive experience throughout the app. Key areas such as Now Playing, My Devices, the Setup New Device wizard and compatibility with legacy Naim streaming devices have been re-engineered for greater speed and reliability.
On Android 15 and above, the app now supports stunning edge-to-edge displays.
