Apologies in advance if this should be in the Lounge forum.
I am using the Phonak Audeo Infinio I70 HAs. Phonak are now offering the upgraded Ultra Sphere I90. I understand that the AI in the new aids offers much clearer speech in a noisy environment. Do any members have experience of these devices and what is the verdict for speech clarity and listening to music? I’m very happy with my existing aids FWIW.
I use the Phonak Audeo I90-Spere hearing aids and have found them to be excellent. I was able to trial a pair at home for about 10 days before committing to purchase. They have been transformational for me, I’m hearing speech far more clearly and music has much more detail. If your audiologist could arrange a loan pair perhaps you could see if they suit you?
I don’t have Phonak but Oticon Intents with similar AI and find them a lot better than my previous ones
I think it’s important that you don’t just plump . Ask your Audiologist to let you try several makes for a least a week each because they all sound different so you see how they sound to you in various scenarios ie music, noisy room ,I found the Oticon better with music personally.
It’s a lot of money , you wouldn’t buy a car without test driving several!
