Indeed. These two chaps names are Lennon and McCartney so of course they are allowed to use their names. But let’s be honest, if they had different names this song wouldn’t have made it on to the forum for discussion, let alone have its own thread

Exactly the same argument can be made for the last song released in the name of The Beatles. It was dreadfully poor but garnered attention because at least two parents of the aforesaid cynically attached the name to it when really it was no such thing. You’re likely on a loser here Graham. The world is full of people trading on the reputation of their parents to greater or lesser degrees. Ultimately it doesn’t matter. It will succeed if it’s good and fail if it’s not.
