Just seen an interesting article on the ear on Michi launching its new Prestige range consisting of a beefy Integrated Amp and a dedicated CD player.
Amps around SN3 price and CD player below last list of the CDX2.2 from memory.

naim have walked away from the entry level separates market, which is a congested and competitive market. A number of new ranges launched this year.
Now the mid range segment is going the same way. No naim presence, no integrated amp, but competitors gobbling up the segment with new launches.
Makes you wonder if a new integrated from naim would gain market traction, given it would likely be priced similar to other NC components.
Competitors continue to launch new CD transports/players too.
I thought exactly the same, however the Naim focus seems to be on the Uniti range and that is/ has been a great success.
Giving serious thought to an Atom HE .
