New Naim Internet Radio - Feedback & Requests - Part 4

App 7.3 iOS
V4.9 on SU

Adding streams to favs

Can only see one page , if I delete from visible page other saved favs will appear

Gordon

looks like a later improved screen on your SU. A quirk of it is that it has to be reversed in FW.

Thank you Steve. I was wrong and you are correct. They are the same….thank you for all your hardwork you’ve done. If it was up to me it would be Stevesky MBE.

Further to favs iOS iPad restarted app etc

Connected via android app favs had a visible more button
Expanded that favs showed all saved on android, back on iOS iPad iPhone both now show all favs, maybe SU cache not refreshing after updates old favs deletions adding new in

A post was merged into an existing topic: Internet radio not working

All stations are working. Connection is a bit slow, 5 sec.

Hello @Stevesky
First I would like to thank you for all your help.
I have downloaded new software to my Mu-so 1 and I find out that Radio 2 UAE is not working. That is strange because on my Mu-so 2 it is working great.
Could you please take a look what is here different that on Mu-so 1 it is not working.
Thank you.

Hi @AlexS82

This station is a bit unusual as it’s actually a video feed (with a static image in it) rather than just an audio feed.

On the newer products like the Muso2 it can handle this stream and demux the audio from the video. On the older products they can’t, so it unfortunately won’t play.

Steve

@Andries, thank you very much! Your suggestion worked, I had to do a factory reset, then I rescanned. It’s definitely not a hardware problem, it must be a bug in the firmware, basically it seems like there’s a problem with the station list when you rescan: it only works after the factory reset. If Naim is interested in learning more, let us know and we’ll help with more testing.

Hi Gordon,

The Exclusively streams are in the UAE. Example:

So International->Middle East->United Arab Emirates->Brands->Exclusively

As a disclaimer we don’t track this network in great detail as stuff is constantly coming and going and it’s not really radio, it’s playlists. If one is missing, let us know and will add it.

Best

Steve

I can find this station (in the UK) but it doesn’t play. The link to their website works, but that doesn’t play on my iPhone either.

Hi Steve,

I appreciate the older devices have reduced capacity and therefore functionality

In the absence of a search feature how can you find iradio stations and configure the presets.

I have a qute 1, updated to the latest firmware and iradio search returns no results

Thanks

Yep, it seems the only way is via AirPlay. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Station is on the list, but not work.
Please fix it

You need to navigate the iRadio menu and find the station. That usually means that you need to know its geographical location, often by looking on the station web page if you don’t already know where it is.

Hi @Yankiwi

re: Organ Experience

Assuming we are talking about this channel:

We have it in the system. see:

However, the channel seems to have an issue as it just has a voice message saying check the playlist for what’s playing, but they forgot the bit of playing organ music.

I’m assuming this maybe some short-term fault on the channel.

Steve

Hi @goranp

That will play on the newer products, but not on the older.

I’ve adjusted the URL to hopefully make it compatible with the older products. Can you try again.

Thxs

Steve

Hi Chris thanks for the suggestion

Unfortunately the search brings back no results

And using the remote to try and navigate doe not feedback to the app.

I was able to successfully use search on my MUSO QB1 and create new presets.

I saw elsewhere that features were disabled on older devices including the search.

I have a tried factory reset, but without a working screen it is not easy.

Is is possible to get back Lightning Country Radio, was on A1 Country Radio Network (asking for the wife  ) It appears to be in Canada. Lightning Country CNTY Radio: listen online

Hi @cdgulley

I think this station changed it’s name from Lightning Country Radio to Hot Country 100 CNTY Radio. Their website: https://hotcountry100.com/

Now added to the system:

Best and hope the wife enjoys it…
