I’d like to try some LS3/5As at home. Recently heard the Falcons and thought they were amazing.
Looks good. What size nuts and ball bearings have you used?
I’ve used 10mm ball bearings sitting on 8mm (M8) nuts. 2 at the front, 1 centrally near the back, for each shelf.
I’ve gone with stainless steel due to our high humidity and salt air.
Thanks. will be giving this a try.
I remember people using these ‘ball-nutters’ many years ago, and getting really good results. I’m pretty sure it’s what inspired Naim to use an evolved version on the Fraim. It’s what I was going to suggest to Mike to try. They are certainly discreet and are a low cost option to try.
HH I’ve gone and done it and ordered a full fat Fraim. Ex demo and in the colour I wanted.
