Is that a Technics SP10 or the later SP15 (fifth photo down)? Lovely looking deck, but I never heard one play. A high mass platter, so I suppose that it had good speed stability, if nothing else. I recall that Technics made a massive plinth for it to slot into. And weren’t they used in BBC studios (with early Naim amps, which went on to be the basis for the first bolt-down NAP160 production models)?
I always lusted after one of those Technics TTs as a student, but had to settle for a Thorens TD160 on the strength of vacation jobs.
