Our 6 year old son has, for reasons that are still somewhat of mystery to us, declared that he is a Dundee United supporter. Not only that but he wants us to go on holiday to Dundee - his mother is taking him and his twin sister on a skiing holiday in France next week and he is miserable because he wanted to go to Dundee . I have shown him your wonderful photo and he gave me this look of - told you Dad .

One of my friends sons went to university at Dundee. He basically partied for 3 years and got a degree at the end of it.
He refers to Dundee as Fundee - a name we have all now adopted

I spent three happy years at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, and I expect we had similar experiences (art/law excepted).
Dundee has a place in my heart - great place to be a student - because almost everyone else was, and stunning countryside within a short bike ride.
We went to Tannadice on numerous occasions, although my main memories there are of the cold. And the swearing.
Happy times.
