Hi,
I cannot get any sound out of my system. I have reset it, disconnected everything and reconnected but still no sound. This is the case for both of my sources, cd and vinyl. Am I missing something obvious?

What led up to you not getting any sound out of the system. A power cut, something else ?
Normally it’s due to swapping left/right DIN XLR cables.
Suggest check the feed from source e.g. have you selected RCA not DIN?
More likely, you’ve crossed the NAP300 signal cables, as these are handed.
The 300 cables look ok - green band in Ch1, red to ch2.
How do I switch from RCA to DIN on the preamp?
I had a problem with a chord tuned array cable for my turntable and I think I may have switched from Din to RCA as part of my quest to figure out what was happening.
if I have done this, I don’t know how to switch it back
Ah I see
See section 4.2 here
I’m sure you know you can programme the inputs on the 552, but these don’t normally re-set on a power-down/up. Have you looked at the 300’s signal cables yet i.e. the XLR ends?
Edit - the 300 XLRs look OK from a blow-up of your pics.
All sorted. It was two problems.
I had switched the cd player from DIN to RCA
I had the phone stage set to Mm and not MC
now all working.
Many thanks for all your prompts and speedy support ![]()
