If you are willing to add non-UK manufacturers (like Canada), then I would add Bryston to the list. They have a new integrated amp, the Bi200 which looks very good.

Enelum is new to me too.
They look amazing, in a ‘70s Lecson or Meridian way.
I don’t like huge boxes so Heaven 11 Billie Mk2 would be on my list but you can’t listen to it anywhere plus it is under your budget.
Given what I’ve heard at HiFi shows over the last few years, if my pre-amp falls over in the near future I’d be buying a Primare I35 or Hegel H150.
Their rooms always sound great to me.
There is a myth Class D doesn’t sound very good. But it is, just a myth.

I heard the H150 and 400 recently into some FYNE F700… Lovely….Class AB… Primare i35 gets good reviews Class D which is what I’m selling…….(EVO150)…..
Not sure if the cheaper H150 suited to my ATC SCM11.. Be fine I think on the TX9..

Either Pass Labs. (previous owner here ) or Gryphon offerings (120 or 300) have surely to be considered. Next level.
Well I have yet to hear a class D based amplifier that I would consider buying. Maybe I should lay ears to Naim’s current offering CI-102 ? (or wait for the next Nait if this is going to be Class D based)

I’d say it’s ideology more than a myth, my PS Audio Stellar S300 is an absolute joy to listen to.

15 years ago I heard the Jeff Rowland Continuum integrated. With Sonus Faber Cremona speakers. Very nice, dynamic, and quite full sound.
I guess todays it’s still better. But probably not all. The case with class AB, A, or tubes.
Some tubes can sound more clinical than solid states .
Some tubes has more dynamic and less noise floor than solid states.
So i would say, be it class D, AB, A, tubes, you can’t generalise.

Rega Aethos was supposed to be a pretty good SN3 alternative. Would have thought that there are plenty of used/ex dem SN3’s around though as it was reputed to sell pretty well.

Probably half right.
But I’m not aware of anyone in particular who would get angry.
Take a listen to the I35, Class D is what Primare specialise in.
There are forum members who think class D speakers are the future.
More than one individual..?
Joking aside, such arrangement could very well be a nice solution.

I’ve been offered a green light 10 hour example for £2395 delivered……..tempted !
But, I do suspect the NN50 is better for my needs…
Will hold out for amp home demos I think…..
