Last night a msg. on the app. advised to update the unit wrt. radio stations. I put it to update and left it alone. Today it appears to be stuck in update mode when I try to bring it to life. I’ve tried to switch off (3 secs. on front power button) to no effect. I switched off/on the internet, but still stuck in update. The unit has been performing satisfactorily before yesterday. Now looking for advice on how to proceed from those in the know please. Thanks
To restart, try unplugging the mains cable for a few seconds then reconnecting, rather then just using the power button.
I’d go with a couple of minutes rather than a few seconds but yes, turn it off at the wall and then turn it on again.

Unplugged and left for several minutes then plugged in again. Heard the unit click but other than that nothing happens when I try to switch on. (Tried this twice) Wishing I’d left it alone as I rarely even use it for radio
Unplugging for several minutes seems to be too short. Unplug if for a couple of hours …
Is there anything showing on the display? Is it lit up at all?
It looks like it is backlit (faint) I’ve now tried factory reset but still nothing on screen
If you are in UK I suggest you phone Naim technical support. They will know what you should do and will also know what happens next if you can’t get it working.
Duncan at Naim is now assisting me with this. (Not resolved as yet)

Now boxed up to return to the factory for investigation.
