Interesting, are you sure they are just rubber (what type of rubber?)
To me they look more like they are laminated from PMMA and something else that could be an elastomer (i.e. some squidgy or partially squidgy polymer, aka ‘rubber’); but I’m only going by appearance, particularly the marks from a circular saw.
