NSS 333 freezes

I tried to search for this on other threads but failed.

I was listening to a track on Qobuz and it suddenly stopped. I tried to skip to another track using the app, but the NSS 333 didn’t react. Turning the streamer off using the remote didn’t work, the sleeve art was still on display.

Pressing the physical ON/OFF switch on the streamer for a few seconds didn’t work either. I ended up unplugging the NPX 300 from the wall to do a complete reboot. That apparently resolved the issue.

Is that a common occurence or is there something wrong with my streamer?

Qobuz has been having problems for the past many weeks. There’s loads about this on the ‘net and here. Try using Connect rather than the Naim app.

Quite popular sympthoms. If reproduced regularly with different services, you might try to examine your network setup.

Doubt that as the on/off switch is unresponsive. Approach your dealer @ClaudeP IMO

That’s what I’ll do the next time if the switch is still unresponsive. There’s a doubt in my mind that I gave it enough time to respond.
