Oh no NSS 333. v ND555 again

Maybe I should close the thread :joy::joy:

Or close it and open the same again

Harsh but true.

Thanks - I have no intention to not believe. But … this can not be the general case, that nait 50 blows all away - even if the near premium series of the same manufacturer.

My 606 want power - and as 135 were barely enough I do not think that nait 50 will …

But someday I will test him. Now tired of all the fiddle

Try it quickly! The doors are closing on the thread @drago I’m sure you’ll be surprised, the mighty 50 has us all in its grip.

I’ll send @frenchrooster a toasted cheese and ham sandwich and a bottle of England’s finest sparkling white wine (eeer em) so that he has the energy to sustain himself through the spectacle

Synergy. You either go high wattage, low sensitivity or low wattage, high sensitivity. Of course Nait 50 cannot drive all speakers at Wembley stadium. You know this right? :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I’ve heard that Naim are discontinuing the Statement amps and are introducing a revised Nait50 with a mono-block mode so you can run 2 of them in a reference top of the range system.

They will be priced competitively so that two are cheaper than a 222.

I think Steve S calculated wrong and put 2x250 watts in it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: It’s such a wonderful amp! There is no way I can motivate the cost of a 5-series today with what I have and how great it sounds. Maybe that’s why they limited the numbers of made units.. It’s bit to good.

I wonder why some people pay 100k to get an Audionote Ongaku integrated, 2X27W?

The Nait 50 at 2k is all they need.:chicken::cocktail_glass:

You got me Johnny :+1:

As you have wonderful boxers, I will not take my revenge

Because they have 100k and nothing to do with their money other than purchasing a box full of copper and silver hand built by your Japanese’s grand grand grand father with porslain eyes and gold fingers?

Maybe….

Because they don’t have any DIN terminated cables?

The NAIT 50 has that special something to it. It’s hard to describe. I definitely don’t miss the NC250. It has a different voicing, for sure. The Bass and the Midrange sound much different.

Using it now with the NSC222/NPX300 as the streamer.

It seems that all roads lead to the N50 :slightly_smiling_face:

I read somewhere on this forum that a 333 owner had a plugged a Dave into it with startling results. Maybe a waste of the 333 and certainly a pricey streamer..

One can forgive a boxer owner many things!

Hi,

Do you find the nait50 crisper and less thick than a nc250?

Can you put in words the bass and midrange difference?

Thks

If that’s your question… Marten Oscar Duo / Duke with Nait50, we’ve discussed it in the forum (Click here and Click here). I hope that helps.
