About Julian Vereker’s preferences: it would be an acceptable choice if he had built just one amp for himself, but he started a company with potential unfortunate customers who can tell left from right…
My reply was not sarcasm in any way, shape or form. It was simply a little harmless humour. Don’t read anything into it.
Well, mine too was simply a little harmless humour. I won’t read anything into it, safe for a inconvenient suggestion and no useful help. Cheer up.
Hungryhalibut,…You from England have a little special humour, you say it yourself in all cases .
This is an international forum, that people from all over the world are reading.
Some of you are quite conservative, and apparently do not understand the importance of Emojis.
In real life, where you meet in person, you see at “facial expressions” and “body language” what the person means when you talk to someone.
When you talk on,…among other things, forums,.where you can not see each other…There is emojis good to use.
That’s why they were invented.
To replace facial expressions and body language.
And the important purpose of using emojis is precisely to avoid misunderstandings,.in conversations in written form.
You’ll see if someone jokes or uses humour.
No matter from what culture,.or country you come from.
So Hungryhalibut,…Had you used a emoji here,so had no one misunderstood your post…Easy or how.

ATB. George.
Only very early kit was labelled with Ch1 and not “Ch1 Left”. Some people seem to be getting confused with which is the left speaker…
Naim gear has a few peculiarities unique to themselves. Maybe that’s another cache for those particularly interested in esoteric one upmanship.
Anyway. The image of us all sipping brandy within an old boys club in Pall Mall is a very generous one. Thank you.
I’m more likely to be having a beer at the surf club.
After just coming out of the gym, and wearing just a vest, shorts and flip flops - I hope.
All bar the gym😳
I reckon every NAP should come with a free copy of Made in Japan.

You’ll get one of the greatest live albums ever.

It’ll act as a setup disc. Connect up your speakers, sit facing the system, hold up the cover in front of the system (CD or LP) and turn up the wick:
If it sounds as it looks on the cover - you’ve got the speakers wired up wrong.
if it doesn’t sound as it looks on the cover - you’ve go the speakers wired up right,
Simples!
Yeah, can feel like that sometimes can’t it !
