Hi. Trying to reach out with a hope that anyone would know if a Ortofon Black for Rega will fit on the rb 880 tonearm on Planar 8? I sold my Rega 50th anniversary and upgraded to Planar 8. Planar 8 has not arrived yet. The tonearm on Rega 50th is 330. I mounted of my Ortofon Black bechouse i liked this cartridge so mouch. Started off with upgrading from Exact to Black for Rega.

That is the one i got. But i was afraid that the tonearm on Planar 8 was aimed only for mc pickups. Since there is no option for mm with bundle deals.
You can buy the planar 8 factory fitted with the nd7 mm cart. Maybe online they’re not showing all the available options.
Ah that sounds like a nice option. But i am very, happy with Ortofon Black 2MR.
