Pics ‘From the Listening Position’

Interesting @Lowdene ! That could well be the same change that I make in my speakers. I’d love to hear more on how you see the comparison between the merits of Ob’s vs 606…

He has 707s!

It’s been some time since I’ve posted so figured I’d share my new “listening position”. I’m just settling into a new home as I’ve recently relocated to the UK. Working with a much smaller space than I had in the U.S. but still plenty of room for a 3-row quadraspire and a new TT to play with after my RP10 was destroyed in the relocation. With the recent upgrades from 282 to 252, I’m still working through a mixture of the 10th anniversary gear. Eventually, it will be sold off or relocated to the office. Now I’m debating whether or not to get the Linn Uphorik in replacement of my Aria. We’ll see…

Any improvement in sound quality?
Would expect so

Very nice!

Love that o/baby. How do they sound with Naim if I may ask?

Todays view from the bike in the cabin with the tunes on.

With @Bandit here, would be really interested to know how they sound, on a potential short list of desirables.

A bit like your earlier comment on ATCs. I had the Obs for over 20 years (well actually I’ve still got them!). I was very used to their presentation. Loved the organic nature and scale. But they do seem very coloured now compared with the Titans. No regrets (especially now the have opened out).

I have one of these lovely chairs in my lounge :+1:

I tend to listen from over here though:

I’ve two - one that was on the picture and then another without the headrest and with spinning wheel. Smaller one I’m using as listening chair and that bigger one when I’m watching TV.

They are great chairs. Apparently, there are only a dozen or so people globally with the skills to make them. I used to love sitting in mine until the cat did a land grab and claimed it as hers…

Which make are they? Thanks!

I got mine from the BoConcept store on Tottenham Court Road in London, but I would not be surprised if it is sold through a number of brands internationally.

Ha ha. The case of the disappearing or invisible TT. :man_detective: :sunglasses:

I’ll get rumbled eventually, but if you were to compare it to a TV detective series then it will probably be at least 2 seasons before the case gets solved

Maybe I should try the false flag advice @Mike_S gave me, albeit in a slightly different way given the purchase is already made, and buy something else really obvious like new speakers to disguise the purchase already made :joy:

She already knows what you’re doing as you have a shared ebay account
